What is the Camp America J1 Programme?
Spend 9-12 weeks this summer working on an authentic American summer camp and experience a taste of the real USA. Camp America will help send your J-1 program application to hundreds of camps to find your job placement, provide you with food and accommodation at camp, and help you earn up to $2,150 in pocket money during the summer. We'll be supporting you every step of the way, ensuring you have everything you need for your J-1 visa application (including sponsorship!) and you can expect 24/7 on-the-ground support throughout the summer. What is summer camp?
For 9-12 weeks every summer, millions of kids attend thousands of summer camps across the USA. Camp Directors search far and wide for fun and friendly staff who will share their camp’s values and create an inclusive environment for campers. Camp America J-1 visa program participants are there to help campers have a summer they’ll never forget, making new friends, sharing new experiences, developing new skills and enjoying life outdoors! By the lake, by the pool, in the fields or in the forest – there’s adventure everywhere.

Our Camps
We’re the original J-1 visa summer camp organisation, placing thousands of jobs at hundreds of summer camps across the USA since 1969. Our Camps start between 1st May and 20th June and run for 9-12 weeks.
